VFRD > Gone Away
" Good thing I love my VTEC It doesn t matter if I care or not - the WifeAccountantPorcupinePillionist has declared, Enjoy this bike, because it s the last one you ll ever have Mind you, she said that about the VF500.And the VFR750.And the VTR1000. I finally find a sportbike (well sporttouring bike) I really love....and here I find news of it being dropped from the line up.....which after I sit on a new Interceptor, havent rode yet, It feels like the VFR is heading more torward the Sport if it does stay anyway....Is it just me or does the newer gen feel more cramped??? Not a bash just a personal observation....now the newer bikes look awsome, not that my 5th is ugly because I love the style of both, but the 6th does have a really nice look .....I hope Honda doesnt drop this b" [3]

Swing arm options??? - CBRXX.com
" ' ' RAM swingarm suspensions, wheels, brakes!' ' RAM motorcycles swingarm suspensions, wheels, brakes!' ' RAM swingarm suspensions, brakes, wheels, for Buell, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha! Hi, I have recently completed a vfr750 single sided singing arm conversion on my Blackbird. Next i am going to fit a Suzuki upside down front end with 6 pot calipers. (delinking the brakes) Have recently come across a article in a streetfighter magazine where sombody had fitted a vfr arm to his fireblade but had used a Konig car wheel with a offset spacer so that he can now run a 200 section rear tyre which i am going to look into for my blackbird. Wheels for cars are a lot cheaper. " [4]

HARLEY vs. HONDA -- Battle of the VROOMS!
" over the last 24 years i have ridden almost every kind and type of bike there is and in all honesty the worst bike every was my brothers harley! it handles, stops and is as smooth as a freight train! he chopped it in for a VFR750 Honda!just read the rationale for harley; its about sounds, looks pretty and misplaced brand loyalty. For pete sake ... pretty!!bikes are for riding and as rides go, harleys are the worst! harleys are not for hardcore riders ... its for pussies! . Posted April 08, 2008 Rider says: . If you want sound buy a cd. If you want to be a poser, get a Harley. If riding is your goal, get a Honda.(The real harley RIDERS are cool and I have never had one bad mouth any bike I was on). . " Mazda rotaries Subaru flat four turbos Any number of bike engines including Honda's V4 (VFR750, RC45 etc with that very distinctive cam gear whine and sweet exhaust note.), Honda CBX1000 inline 6 (because they could), Yamaha V-Max 1200 V4, Honda V5 GP (are we including race engines?!)....the list goes on Nissan Skyline GTR RB26 Datsun 240Z L24 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo NSX I need to go for a blast... Aaah... my Alfa 2.0 liter DOHC I4 with its huge airbox removed sounded like a frickin' race engine. Four velocity stacks sucking air for all their worth. Better sounding than my B18C.. I hate to say. But soooo noisy that it was impractical to drive it that way. Besides, the rest of the car was so unreliable.
